Ifeyinwa is a partner with the Firm. She heads the Firm’s Transaction and Business Support Group. Ifeyinwa’s areas of professional competence and research interests include Infrastructure Finance, Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets.

Ifeyinwa holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nottingham. She is admitted to practice law in Nigeria as a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court

Ifeyinwa’s extensive background and experience includes her time as a pioneer staff of Transcorp Plc and associate partner in the finance and infrastructure practice at Detail Commercial Solicitors. She has gained vast experience advising state governments, regulators, multinationals and other institutions on several transactions. This experience includes, advising the Delta State Government on the development of Warri Industrial and Business Park via a private finance initiative solution; Consortium member, advising the Central Bank of Nigeria on the drafting of a National Infrastructure Financing Policy; Advising Central Securities and Clearing Systems Limited as a retained client on various aspects of its operations, including the proposed Amendment rules of CSCS; Advising the Infrastructure Bank on various fund raising options for expansion of its operations and services; Advising the Federal Ministry of Works on the construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge; Advising on the N5 Billion Nasarawa State Government Bond Issuance; Advising on the N50 Billion Delta State Government Bond Issuance; Advising on the N3 Billion LaCasera Corporate Bond Issuance; Advising the Infrastructure Bank on the transaction structure and the financing of the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway; Advising Copperbelt Energy Corporation on the US131 Million financing for the acquisition of Abuja Distribution Company and Advising a Lead Consortium Member on financing the acquisition of core assets in the Shell divestment exercise.

Ifeyinwa was a columnist for ThisDay law, authoring several publications on infrastructure financing. She has delivered several papers at various conferences and seminars. Ifeyinwaserved as a Non-Executive Director for FSL Securities Ltd and Harmony Trust and Investment Company Ltd. She is a Trustee of Living Fountain Orphanage.

 She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
